Phú Yên is a coastal province in the South Central Coast of Vietnam. Phu Yen provincial capital is the city of Tuy Hoa, it is 1,160 km south of Hanoi and 560 km north of Ho Chi Minh City. Phu Yen has an area of ​​5045 km² , a coastline of  189 km, and a population of 883 200 people, with alternating terrain of mountains and plains.

Song Cau Town is located in the first coastal land of Phu Yen province. Among all the towns of Phu Yen, it has the longest coastline (80km), giving this place various picturesque landscapes, such as Xuan Dai Bay, Cu Mong Lagoon, many large peninsulas such as Xuan Thinh, Xuan Hai. The total area of Song Cau Town is 489.28km2, about the same size as Phuket and Las Vegas. The population is about 101,521 people (2009). It is famous for beautiful beaches, a home to a wealth of natural resources and an unspoiled marine environment.

Climate: Phu Yen has a tropical climate. The average temperature is 26.5 Celcius and trips to Phu Yen can be made all year round. There are two seasons in a year; the rainy season (September to December) and the dry season (January to August).

Traffic: Phu Yen can be reached by air, railway, or road (private vehicles, buses).By air, there are airplanes of Jetstar Pacific leaving from Hanoi or  Ho Chi Minh City to Tuy Hoa Airport (Phu Yen Province), or airplanes of Vietnam Airlines leaving from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Cat Airport (Binh Dinh Province).

Nature: The unique vegetation of Phu Yen will offer an extraordinary sight with beautiful variation in landscape. With the coastline of 190km, Phu Yen have stunning beaches, abundant flora, fauna and famous scenic such as Xuan Dai Bay (National scenic), Da Dia Reef, O Loan Lagoon, etc. Phu Yen also has many nature reserves such as Krong Trai Forest, Bac Deo Ca Forest, etc.
